''Like a Deep Sleep'' by cyprussian

Sweet little child stay away
From all that can hurt you
And you'll make it one day
You keep telling me that

All that you are is getting cold
The days getting longer
The days getting old

Cause ever time you cry and every time you fall
I know why
Burn away Burn away
the flames in you shines brighter
Burn away Burn away
Your narrow view shines wider

Nomy - Every time You Fall

The fog drifted away and Helena could see a familiar scenery in front of her, though it did not look quite the same as she remembered. Nattvik looked smaller in a way, and although the main buildings were all there, looking just like they did before she had her accident, the paint job looked old and faded, the riding arena was turned into another field where sheep grassed peacefully and the round coral was gone. In some strange way the whole atmosphere made Helena think she was back in 1820. Olav guided her across the courtyard towards an old pasture where a black mare stood waiting, with her head looking over the fence. The mare looked awfully familiar, and Helena recognized her as Fjellmøy, her great grandfather’s horse.
‘’Grandpa’’ Helena whispered, without taking her eyes off the mare. ‘’Have we gone back in time?’’
Olav giggled silently. ‘’No. These are only mental recreations of your family history. However, they are true. What you see actually happened.’’
‘’So… it’s my imagination? Then why can I not go back to my life?’’ Helena blinked.
‘’I keep your consciousness at rest until I no longer fear for your health and well being. Besides, I have a very important message to you’’ Olav looked actually a little troubled.
Movements in the corner of Helena’s eyes made her look behind her. A slender but strong looking man was walking towards them and then straight through them as if they were just air. He mumbled in a soft voice to the mare, some cuddly and appraising words, but behind the softness was a huge authority. There was no question Helena’s great grandfather Arve had a very strong and easy to respect kind of personality. You did not question his decisions. It was obvious how deeply horse and man appreciated each other’s company; Helena instantly remembered the bond she had with Katyusha and Karl.
‘’You have your great grandfathers gift of understanding horses’’ Olav said. ‘’Don’t let people’s expectation come between you and your purpose in life.’’
Helena nodded speechless, almost a little sad. She watched Arve as he gently stroke the mare’s forehead, Fjellmøy’s head sinking lower in respect and in affection for her partner.

‘’Do not demolish the old racing track’’ Olav suddenly said, turning towards her. ‘’Do not demolish it to build something new. Make the best of what you have got’’
There was a tense silence, the air got almost too thick to breath. Helena took deeper breaths, her fingers feeling strangely numb already.
‘’Nattvik’s racetrack is built on holy ground, holy from before anyone of the Nattvik’s ever made their way up into the mountains.’’ His voice got stronger yet hoarser as he spoke, until it did not even resembled her grandfather’s voice.
Helena suddenly saw dark dots dance before her eyes, the air was sucked out of her lungs.
‘’Do not wake up what is underneath the ground’’ He continued.
Panicking, she fell to her knees gasping for air, but it was useless. There was no more air to breath.
‘’don’t wake it up’’ Olav demanded.

Do not wake it up…

;A; why do you continue to do this to us?

I hope whatever it is her grand father is talking about; isn't too dangerous though I would still take that warning seriously!
